Golfing...

We had a nice evening on the golf course with our friends, Dan & Katy and their daughter Ellie. It got a little dark towards the end but it was beautiful weather. Olivia loved running around on the course. Tyler let me sit in the golf cart and chat with Katy the entire time (Will was peacefully asleep in the sling). It wasn't much of a relaxing game for Tyler. In fact, he said it was stressful... trying to make sure Olivia didn't run too far, keeping her away from swinging clubs, etc. I just laughed. I told him that is exactly what I mean when I say that while it's fun to be a stay-at-home-mom and do fun things for myself, like shopping or going to lunch with my friends, it isn't exactly restful. It's full of running, tantrums, stress, diapers, and taking care of someone else-- all while trying to enjoy what is supposed to be *my* activity. Lol.
