Here's a little bit of what we've been up to...
We spent 3 of the last 6 weekends in St. George. Over Valentine's Day weekend (my entire family was also down there) we went bowling... it's becoming one of our usual activities when we're in St. George (even though we never go at home). It was so much fun. Olivia wanted to run down the lane (is that what it's called?). She was also fascinated with the bowling balls. She's quite strong, so I was worried she'd attempt to pick up one of them and end up dropping it on her toes instead. Lucky for me, she's got Kyler wrapped around her finger, so he followed her around all night, keeping her out of trouble/danger. She just wanted to hold the ball!

It was well past her bed time, and she was getting a little cranky. But, a turn at rolling the ball always seemed to make her happy again. Luckily everyone was willing to give her a turn periodically. Maddie and her friend, Morgan, were helping her this time.

Tyler has been waiting to "make a fort" for Olivia for quite some time, as fort building is one of his fondest childhood memories. He decided she was finally old enough so he draped a blanket across a few chairs and chased her around. Tyler was right, she loved it.

Olivia also loves to be outside... rain, snow, sunshine, wind... it doesn't matter to her. I, on the other hand, am a fair weather friend, literally. I prefer warm weather. Luckily, Tyler is ALWAYS more than willing to take her out into the snow, even when I think it's too cold for her! He made her a snowman and she loved it. Every day she would stand at the front door and bang on the glass door as she smiled and jabbered at her snowman. (We didn't have any coal, so we used Cordial Cherries for the eyes & mouth... yum!).
Now that it's warm, and she's got the skills to quickly get down the steps, Olivia will dart out the door the minute I open it. And she cries if I have to bring her back inside. She loves to be outside. And she LOVES bubbles. She doesn't quite understand the chasing & popping part, but she is entertained by them and asks for them on a daily basis ("Buh Buh!"). One afternoon, after we picked Maddie up from school, Maddie took Olivia out to blow bubbles. I had already been out earlier that day blowing bubbles with her, but she just can't get enough of the great outdoors (poor thing probably has cabin fever).
I have a lot more pictures to post, but I think that's all for now. I'll try to be better at posting regularly. I used to be so good. What happened you ask? Well, I blame it on being pregnant.

Her face is adorable in that last picture! I absolutely love it!
My kids love bubbles too, But I would get tired of going outside. My mom would blow bubbles to us while we were in the tub when we were little...i tried it with my kids and walah! They still love it just as much and I didn't have to go outside if it was cold or not feeling well. give it a try, it worked for mine.
She's so stinkin cute...Keizya loves being outside too and throws tantrums until I open the door. She's crazy. I too, loved making forts when I was a kid...so we (I) make a fort for every conference and watch with all my goodies inside the fort...to represent King Benjamin ya know...and just to make it more interesting and fun filled. Our girls need to play. !!!! That's all I have to say. And I'm excited to hear you're having a boy!
