Get It Together...

Before I had Olivia I told myself I would be much better at scrapbooking when I had a baby. After all, kids are much more fun to scrapbook than adults. AND, I just KNEW I would have a lot more free time once I wasn't working (HA. Yeah right!). But, alas, I am really behind on Olivia's album, not to mention the fact that I haven't printed any photos since January of last year (good thing Tyler's got a few back-ups of them, just in case).

One of my goals is to get Olivia caught up, at least to her 1st birthday (albums and printing/organizing hard copies of her photos) before this little boy arrives. I'm still set on doing all of her album digitally, since I love the no-mess factor (not to mention that it is a lot cheaper). I thought I was going to start scrapbooking her stuff a few months ago, but I never got much further than a few pages. But, now that I am pregnant I have to bet my rear in gear or else I'll really be behind.

Here is the page I did this afternoon. I completely admit to copying the layout right from The Shabby Shoppe, but it was cute and lots faster than trying to be creative... and hey... if copying their layouts = more finished pages, then I am all for it.

Very cute! I LOVE digital scrapbooking...but the time factor always seems to get in the way!

Cute! I thought I would have Julia's 1st year book completed by her birthday....since her birthday is on Thursday and 1 have one page done, doesn't look promising! I hate being a procrastinator.

I confess that i use layouts too. not all the time, but sometimes when i'm just not feeling creative and don't have to time, i just copy and paste! Nothing wrong with that!! :) The page is cute, so good job! haha at least you're getting it done. by the way, you're one of about 50 people i know that are pregnant right now. one of my pregnant friends just basically said to me, "no pressure, maddy!" You're one of the ones making me feel pressured since our firsts are the same age! jk

If it weren't for digital scrapping I wouldn't do it.

That's awesome Olivia is learning new words. I love that stage.

Sweet. I really like working with the different products though. I don't know if I could get into the digital thing.

First of all, love the layout and your little girl is SO adorable! Cute cute cute.

I wanted to apologize for "hiding" the tomato soup recipe! I set the post to schedule automatically but since it had already been posted it went ahead and posted early on our site so I had to quickly remove it and just save it to post on Monday. I actually sat there and thought, hmmm...what are the chances that someone will need this particular recipe in the next 48 hours and will be sad it's not here? haha. So I'm sorry! I'm glad you ate something else that was yummy though :) If it ever happens again, just email me!

I'm not much of a scrapbooker either. I think I'll just do the photo books of Sampson. Your page of Olivia is so cute. She is getting so big. You always think you will have more time when your a "stay at home" mom but man time flies by with things to do. Hope you guys are doing well. How are you feeling?
