A few more things...

I've been such a slacker in regards to my blog that I don't even know where to begin catching up. Olivia is growing and learning so much every day... she's becoming quite the chatter box (does that surprise you?). I have a long list of words and "tricks" that I need to blog about, but I keep putting it off. I figure now is as good of time as ever, right?

As of today, here are some of the words she can actually say without any prompting...
Up ..................... Up (I make her say this anytime she wants "up." She's really good at it now)
Cheese .............. Cheece (this is her favorite thing to eat and she will tell you when she wants it)
Mom ................. Ma Ma
Dad ................... Da da
Nose ................. Nuh (she is starting to get the "s" sound on it, but she's not quite there yet)
Eyes ................. Eye
Turtle ............... Tuh-do
Truck ............... Duh (every time a car goes past our house she pauses and loudly says, "DUH!")
Dog .................. Dah
Jesus ............... Chesus or Jesus (she loves to point to pictures of him, especially at church)
Juice ................ Joo or chooce
Drink ............... Dur or Duh
Elmo ............... Memo
Diaper ............. Di-duh
Elephant ......... Aaaaaaant (she opens her mouth really wide and draws out the "aa" sound before finishing with a strong "ant" sound. This is our current favorite!)
No ................... No or No no (she says this one too frequently now)
Bath ................ BAH! or Ba Ba! (She loves the bath and will practically shout this when she wants to get in.)
Down .............. Duh (this literally means "down" but can also mean that she wants to go downstairs).
Duck ............... Duh

She can also bark like a dog, quack like a duck, moo like a cow, neigh like a horse, and baa like a sheep. She tries to oink, but she can't quite figure it out yet.

She loves to dance and bounce to music, but she loves it even more when everyone does it with her. She also likes to spin in circles anytime we play music.

Going to Wendi's house is her absolute favorite thing to do. Now that she has realized that Wendi lives next door she is always begging me to take her over there. She will stand at the front door and bang on it. She even does it while Wendi is at work and she doesn't understand when I tell her that Wendi isn't home. So, we'll walk over and knock on the door and once we turn around to come back home she'll cry. Luckily Wendi is really good to her and will usually come get her every evening or afternoon. The cutest thing is when Wendi comes over to my house and Olivia clings onto her as if she is afraid Wendi will go home without her. Most of the time she pulls Wendi to the front door before Wendi is even ready to leave. Other times she will cry big alligator tears if Wendi tries to leave without her (which is only when Wendi is in a hurry to leave somewhere). But, Wendi always gives in and takes Olivia to her house even if it is only for two minutes. Most of the time that is enough to satisfy her. She sure loves Wendi!

There is so much more to catch up on, so I am determined to be better at blogging regularly. And, I have lots of pictures to post, so I'll be back!

all those things she says are so cute!! i wish britton was talking so bad! He does his baby babble constantly, but none of it sounds like anything. He says dog and dada, and that's about it. Not even mama! One day... it will just be great to know what he wants.
