The worst part about all this is that Madison is leaving me just as Olivia has gotten extremely quick at making her way around the house. She's learned that crawling is better than scooting on your back (unless you need your hands to carry toys). She's pulling herself up and onto her knees to get whatever might be out of reach. Nothing is safe anymore and now I don't have a second set of eyes to help me keep track of her.
I moped around this morning and complained to Tyler that today was going to be really boring. Maddie might be 14 years younger than me, but I love hanging out with her. And Olivia loves having her around, too. Last night before she left Maddie said, "Well, see you in 9 months!" True, it might be 9 months before I get to enjoy another summer with her, but she'd better plan on coming over after school at least once a week! *Did you read that, Maddie? AT LEAST once a week!*
Yesterday morning (while I slept peacefully) Tyler was doing the dishes and Olivia was crawling around. He stopped to check on her and the little squirt had helped herself to the bucket of peaches. She had eaten about half of a peach (they're small peaches) and she was covered in sticky peach juice. She did it again later that night so I snapped a few pictures. Mmmmm... she loves peaches.

I feel for you. Last summer when I had Zach my neice would come over to keep me company too. That is so cute that she ate almost a whole peach!!
Cute! I love her dress.
Maddie cracks me up!! Good luck with the chase :)
I brought a bucket of peaches over to my ILs on Monday, and my nephew grabbed a peach in each hand and was taking bites out of each. We cut them up and peeled them for him and he polished both of them off. Yum!
Have you managed to do any canning yet?
Yummy, I would sit down right by her. YOu need to get on www.whatyabeencooking.blogspot.com and look up the peach pie recipe, IT IS TO DIE FOR! Seriously, try it.
I wish I would have been able to come hang out this last time I went to sf but my family booked me. They keep me on my toes, but September, we are hanging out. Cam is going hunting again.
I feel your pain...my mom and sister went back to work (both are teachers) so now I am stuck with my kids and no adult contact...unless you count Ben because he is 5 going on 30! Anyway, you can always call me! That is so cute about the peaches. It's funny but both of my boys HATE peaches and Mat and I love them! Oh well, more for us!
So cute!
I answered your question on my blog; please e-mail me so we can discuss it more!
She is such a cutie!
