Why Do I Torture Myself?

Why do I buy Halloween candy? And why do I buy such GOOD Halloween candy? I bought 3 bags of candy... Snickers, Peanut M&Ms, and Skittles and I didn't even give any away! We ended up spending all night visiting family so I have 3 huge bags of YUMMY candy at my house. Tyler did try to hide them ('cause he's a candy freak). But, I saw him get into his secret stash above the fridge-- that's right, I saw him in the reflection on the TV-- he thought I wasn't looking!

Even though I knew where he hid them, I resisted. All weekend. And all day today. But, alas, tonight I found a bag of Skittles on the table and ate them. And now, the only thing I can think about is how good a couple of Snickers would taste right now. But, I'm trying to be strong. It's torture.

I want to throw all the candy away so I don't tempt myself. I'm really not that strong. But, I might regret it later when I NEED a fun size Snickers.

TORTURE!

Next year I'm buying those yucky, black & orange, peanut butter-taffy things. Then, I won't even be tempted.

My kids got so much candy and then I had my leftovers so I am in the same boat! I froze a TON of the candy bars but I still have a bunch out and I have no will power when it comes to 1:00 in the afternoon. All I want to something sweet and I sure take it! I feel your pain! Agrh!

I am right there with you!!!! Except the difference is, I can't resist, literally! I love candy so much. So I am kinda glad now that Braden didn't want to go. Sad but True.

You know I love my candy, but in your defense "fun size" is nicer on the butt than the "REALLY" fun size (that would be the regular size).
