Olivia's First Halloween!

I ended up making Olivia's costume at 9:30pm the night before Halloween. I wasn't going to do the tutu because I kept telling myself that an 11 month old didn't need it. But, then I realized that I wanted her to have it. And it's okay to be the crazy mom that wants her baby to look cute, right? So my mom and I started our quest for black tulle at 7:00pm. Every store was out of black. But, I found some cute black with purple sparkles. Not exactly what I had in mind for a black cat, but I think it turned out cute anyway.

Maddie took Olivia to a few houses (about 5). Maddie's costume was really cute, too.

A few years ago my mom, Wendi, Maddie and I bought the same witch hats and tights, which is why my mom and I are dressed the same. Olivia loved my mom's necklaces.


Even Tyler dressed up (for work, too). That really shouldn't surprise anyone, because he is always such a good sport, but I always expect him to roll his eyes when I suggest something like this. He doesn't think he's too cool for stuff like this, which is sort of fun. In fact, when I told him I bought him a vampire cape he said, "So, I get to be Edward?"

I thought his teeth and dark eyes would scare Olivia, but she just smiled at him!

This is my cousin, Brock (he works with Tyler). Isn't that goatee the best thing ever? It was backed with some adhesive. It looked so great!
