Do you see what she is reaching for? GUM! She'd found it in my purse a few times before, and she actually likes it. Yes, it is cinnamon flavored! Don't ask me how she knew that I kept a stash in the junk drawer.
You can't really tell, but she was pursing her lips together and saying, "Mmmmm...."
How can I take it away when she is so proud and happy to have it?
Yes, she is taking a bite. She does actually eat it. Not that I let her do it (well, I did this time just 'cause I wanted a few pictures), but when she finds it and gets it unwrapped and half eaten before I can stop her there isn't much I can do. Don't worry, Grandma... the old rumor about it taking seven years to digest is a bunch of bologna.
Uh, oh... she also found the stash of pens. ACK! THAT is what I am not ready for. This girl loves to draw. On herself, on the floor, on the door, and on anything that isn't supposed to be drawn on. I guess I will be moving the pens to a different location. UGH.
See, her arms make a nice canvas, don't they?

She's so smart Meag. And I will just have to say that is thee cleanest junk drawer I have ever seen. I don't even think it qualifies to have the name junk drawer.
She is getting so big! She is so cute. That is so funny that she likes gum. Jr loves gum and he is actually really good about chewing it and then when he is done he will come spit it out in your hand! I don not really know if it's the best thing to let him have, but he sure enjoys it! We are coming out in July and it would be so fun to get together and let the little one play now that they can run around together! And to see the new little bundle of joy!
Just think in a few months she will have a whole new canvas...her little brother :)
