I am SO ticked...

I decided that I needed a new bouncer for Olivia. She loves the one that we have, and we love it, too-- the vibrations and bouncing motions keep her pretty happy. But, we needed one with an easy-to-use restraint so we could try having her sleep in it. Our current one is too hard to get her in & out of during the night.

So, I picked up a new one at Target this afternoon. I thought I had done really well because I found one with a decent color scheme. I hate all those ugly, tacky colored baby items! This one was a little more money, but it had a better belt and it was neutral in color, so I thought it was worth it! Tyler set it up tonight, and once Olivia got a little fussy we put her in it so she could enjoy a little bounce. Well, guess what?? It doesn't bounce. NOPE!! This one isn't a bouncer!!!!!!! It's a "Baby Papasan Seat." What the heck? It was in the BOUNCER section, and it looks like a bouncer, but it's not a bouncer!! I never thought to make sure it would actually bounce. ARGHHHH!!!

Well, Tyler is going to take it apart and box it back up. And we're heading off to Walmart tonight so we can pick up a bouncer that actually bounces, and I found one for 1/2 the price of this one! I guess I should learn my lesson -- it doesn't matter how good something looks if it doesn't do what you bought it for!!
