Tyler & Meagan

It's hard to believe that Olivia is 8 weeks old today. She is so alert and curious about everything that is going on around her. Every time she smiles it melts my heart! I love it. She is also cooing a lot and she makes this funny gurgling sound with the back of her throat. We could sit and play with her for hours on end. I talk to her all day when I am home with her... if someone were a fly on the wall they would probably think I was incredibly ridiculous. She's probably going to turn out to be a little chatter box just like her mom!

Tyler attached her mobile to the bassinet and she loves it. I can wind that up for her while I jump in the shower and it will keep her entertained the entire time. It's a sanity saver! She gets so excited her little legs start kicking and her arms start punching and she makes noises as if she is talking to it. It's super cute.

We're lucky that she is such a good baby. She rarely cries. She'll play by herself on a blanket or in her swing, especially if she has something hanging above her (like her mobile). But, my favorite is when she lays on my lap smiling and talking to me. Ahhhhh... that's the best!
