Summer Time...

Being a stay-at-home mom is so much more fun in the summer! I was so paranoid about taking her out in the cold that I had cabin fever, bad! I suppose her age also has something to do with it; the older she gets the easier she is to take places. I know her feeding/sleeping schedule, I don't have to haul around that massive car seat because she is easy to carry or strap in a shopping cart, and she actually loves getting out of the house! She is so happy when we're outside, shopping, or around a bunch of people.

Katy and I have been trying to go walking every morning, although the past three weeks we've been slackers (too much going on!). But, we did go today! It was so hot! I am not a morning person, and neither is Katy unfortunately, so we can't go much earlier. I am getting a nice farmer's tan, ACK! Here is Olivia all ready for our walk this morning.
And here she is during lunch. She has figured out how to finger paint with the baby foods. It's so disgusting. She jabbers and coos as she smears the food all around. Her legs kick and she bounces up and down. Obviously, she thinks it's a lot of fun so I can't bring myself to stop her. So, I take pictures instead.

We also went to the pool with Katy and Ellie today. We met up with one of Katy's friends, Carrie, and her kids, as well as Carrie's sister. We had so much fun and Olivia loved the pool.
