This coupon stuff is so addicting. Every time I come home with a killer deal I just get more excited for my next shopping trip.
The day before we left for Mexico I found some really good savings so Maddie and I clipped all the coupons, packed up Olivia and headed to Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Albertsons. Of course, I ended up calling Tyler to meet us so he could finish the shopping since I was getting really sick by then (I couldn't just go home, though-- I had some awesome deals to take advantage of). But, I got some great stuff for practically FREE so I don't think Tyler minded one bit.
Here's my loot from Rite Aid for last week:

Rebates coming back to me: $7.99
TOTAL: $3.98
Yep, that's right! I got all of that for less than $4. Now, I don't normally use Head & Shoulders, but I am willing to get over some of my brand loyalties. Besides, I told Tyler that any money I save by couponing is going straight into my pocket! Luckily, Tyler tracks our spending to the penny (by category, too) so I'll be able to make sure I get every penny of my savings *insert evil laugh here*.
I'm debating whether or not I should start a blog dedicated to this new hobby. So many people have asked me how to do it, and I'd hate to bore the majority of my readers with the details. There are already so many blogs and websites out there, but so many of the are overwhelming and intimidating. I know that as a beginner I like step by step instructions, like "Couponing For Dummies." I'm no expert at couponing, but I could write as I learn. I could also write about all my couponing mishaps (like buying $50 worth of stuff only to find out it doesn't qualify for the rebates. Dang, guess I'll be returning that load!) Hmmm... I'll give the blog more thought and we'll see.

It would be cool if you dedicated a blog to couponing! I wanna know how you get these deals. On BBC, they always talk about Wal-greens but since I don't live by one (just a rite-aid), I'd like to know how you do it and find it!
