This was taken at my dad's 50th birthday party. And I just realized I forgot to post something about his BIG birthday, so I'll post about that soon.
Olivia loves when Tyler gets home from work so she can play with him. When she hears the garage door open she crawls across the kitchen floor and waits for me to open the back door so she can watch him get out of the car. I have to catch her before she dives off the cement steps because she gets so excited to see him. Now that she's figured out how to throw/roll, she loves to play ball. Here she is playing with her dad after dinner.
Last Halloween I went to Gardner Village with my mom and sisters. I was almost 8 months pregnant, and I remember being so uncomfortable! Everyone else was bundled up in coats, but not me... I was in a short-sleeved shirt and flip-flops and wasn't the least bit cold. Pregnancy does that, I guess. While shopping in one of the cute kid shops I found this puppet show stage and a bunch of finger puppets. If you know Tyler, then you know that he loves to be silly, and he is like a big kid himself, so I knew he would love playing puppets with Olivia someday. So, I bought the puppet show and a set of fairy tale puppets (every little girl needs to play the princess that is rescued by the knight, right?). I gave it to Tyler that same night. He laughed. But, he hasn't gotten much use out of it until recently. Olivia still isn't too into it, but she will play with him for a while. She likes to put the puppets on her fingers, pull them off, put 'em back on, pull them off... you get the idea.
Now that I don't have to nurse Olivia during the day I can leave her with Tyler while I go to Salt Lake to get my hair cut. It's nice to get a break for more than 2 hours! Last Saturday Tyler cleaned the garage while I was gone and Olivia played outside with him. The break was SO nice, and the clean garage was awesome, too! He bundled her up so she wouldn't get cold. Doesn't she look so cute?
While Maddie and Wendi were out of school for Fall Break we made a quick trip to Gardner Village. The weather was perfect. There were all sorts of activities going on, but best of all were the witches. If you've never been up there during Halloween you are missing out!
