A friend of mine is asking for some help. Her husband is currently deployed in Iraq, and trying to get help for the Christian refugees. They've been forced to leave the city of Mosul. Many of them have fled to Bartolla and are staying with other families. However, these families are also very poor. Both the refugees and the families they are staying with are now in need of a lot of basics... the things you and I take for granted.
They really need clothing, especially for children. Hygiene items would also be a greatly appreciated. You can go to any post office and get ask for a FLAT RATE BOX. To send the largest box, regardless of the weight, is only $10.95.
