Wow!

Wow. I have been awarded the BFF Gold Card... for being a dedicated blog reader, AKA, blog stalker. I'm going to take this as a total compliment because I know Katy doesn't think any less of me for being totally addicted to reading blogs (even if I read the blogs of people that I don't even know).

Katy
and I have been friends since junior high. However, we didn't hang out too much in high school. To make a long story short, Katy is now one of my best friends (our hubby's have been best friends since they were barely walking so we have no choice but to be friends). She got me addicted to reading blogs and then I soon jumped on the blogging bandwagon. I love reading her blog because she isn't fake. She doesn't care if people know that she peed her pants! LOL. Anyway, I love Katy's guts and am honored to have received such an award from her.

So, here's how it works. You can only honor five people with this award...the first four are dedicated to being a reader of your blog. The fifth must be an out of state (or country) reader.

My once-dedicated readers have gone into serious hiding since I haven't been so regular with the blogging. I don't blame them, though. It's been boring around these parts. So, my awards are going to those readers that are stickin' with me, even through tough times.

Chantel: Chantel married my cousin, Brock. I haven't had the chance to get to know her really well, but she's super cute, genuine, and so nice. She wasn't afraid to comment on my blog first, even though we didn't know each other very well. She's a faithful reader and always leaves comments (and everyone likes to receive comments, right?). When we do see each other at family parties, she adores my little girl and always wants to hold her and give her lots of love and attention. She just moved to Texas so I won't get to see her too often, at least for a while, but she is pregnant and I am super excited for her and Brock. They're going to have the cutest little baby!

Darise: I worked with Darise for a long time at UVRMC and then again at the Intermountain Central Office in SLC. We often rode the bus together (UGH, don't miss that, do we?). Although we don't look that much alike, people were constantly getting us mixed up. And a couple of times a week we used to split a chocolate cake donut (from the UVRMC cafeteria) for breakfast. We're both chatter boxes and we both talk incredibly fast. LOL. She is always leaving me little comments just to let me know she's reading. We still get together for dinner and it's always fun to catch up. But, we both know that, thanks to blogging, we are already caught up on each other's lives.

Marie: Marie is another high school friend. She has 6 kids (well, almost...) and is my same age. Either I am really behind or she is just ahead. I love reading about her family and how she manages everything. She's amazing. But, best of all she always leaves me these little positive notes. She's never negative. I love it. And, for some reason, I love that she takes time to read my blog.

Maddy: She's become of my "bloggin' buddies." I have never met her in real life, but I want to. She seems like such a fun person! You might remember this post about how I "met" Maddy. Luckily I didn't creep her out when I revealed myself as her secret blog admirer, and now she even stops by to read my blog. She has a super cute house. And, she finds super great buys. And, she likes to do all sorts of random projects. Totally right up my alley.

Amanda: I've known Amanda for a long time. I actually dated her brother all through high school. Amanda was always so nice to me. She used to pick me up from high school and we'd go get a drink, and after she got married I even visited her in Vegas. A couple of years ago we were reacquainted when she moved into my ward. It was so fun to talk to her again and see her kids. She has since moved away, to England of all places, but she found my blog and once again, we're in touch. My brother-in-law, Brett, is also living in England and guess what? They're in the same ward! And he is also Joe & Amanda's home teacher. Is that a small world, or what?

Ohhhh! Thanks for putting me on your blog! You are so nice! I feel so special right now seriously! I wish I couldn've gotten to know you more before i left. To tell you the truth, when we have dinners at Grandma wilson's you are the easiest one to talk to. You always have a way of making me feel welcome! Post some more pics soon of Olivia... I can't wait to see her again.

Ah shucks Meagan, I feel so honored. I love reading your blog and I hold no grudge against you that you don't keep yours updated as often as you used to. Shoot, look at mine. I'm much worse than you. I've vowed to get back on top of things this week. I'm glad we've stayed friends over the years. It's been a fun ride.

Maybe one day we actually will meet. Your 10 year high school reunion is coming up soon, right?? Eh, we probably won't be able to make that one, but... one day! Until then we can stick to blog stalking! Thanks for this oh-so-special award!

I probably read your post first and am the last to comment. I'm 7 hours ahead of ya all and if I read my blogs in the morning they are just freshly posted. Anyway, Thanks for including me. I am glad we are still friends too. I've been behind on my posting and really need to catch up!
