1. I hate not having my toenails painted... shades of red are usually the color of choice, but I am open to anything.
2. I am fascinated by WWII and the Holocaust. I think it was a horrible thing, but love learning about it. I just finished reading "Knight" by Elie Wiesel, so it is on my mind. Awesome book, by the way.
3. My favorite color is green. Not forest green, though. I think our forest green Dodge Caravan from the 90's ruined that for me.
4. I love music, but don't buy many CDs.
5. Although I used to despise dark chocolate, it is now my favorite. Mmmm...
6. When I was little I wouldn't have anything to do with "white" baby dolls. All my dolls, Barbies included, were African-American, Latin, or even Asian... with dark skin and dark hair.
7. I love to dust... and I always use furniture polish. Weird, I know.
8. I have no desire to play sports. I'm probably not even good at them, but I wouldn't know 'cause I've never played. And like I said... I don't want to.
9. I love to shop at Nordstrom, now more than ever, because they have a "Mother's Lounge" where I can feed Olivia. Why don't more stores have one?
10. I don't have to shave my legs any more because I had them lasered. It was the best thing I have ever done for myself. My armpits (that is such an ugly word) are next.
11. I like to cook... most of the time.
12. When I was working I ate out way too much. Usually every weekday at lunch, and then about 5 nights a week. UGH. It makes me sick to think about it now. My days were too long to even think about wanting to cook when I got home.
13. I like to buy shoes, purses, and jewelry, but I never wear 1/2 of the jewelry. I wear earrings every day, but only manage to wear necklaces or bracelets once in a great while. I always wear my wedding ring, though.
14. I am a very opinionated person.
15. I wish I had a Mac. Why I bought an HP last time I will never know. I don't know what I was thinking.
16. I don't read the Book of Mormon as often as I should.
17. I have lost interest in scrapbooking ever since "scrapbooking" turned into a form of decorating. Picture Frames, decorating accessories, etc. It's more than I can handle and I don't like it. Sorry if I offend anyone, just not my style. And now... I don't even like "that look" on scrapbook pages. I thought I would try digital, but I can't even bring myself to do that in the typical scrapbooking style. Therefore, my blog has become my new way to document life.
18. I prefer my chocolate chip cookies without chocolate chips. As Tyler would say, I prefer them "naked."
19. I love to deep clean, but hate to pick up. Yes, I love to clean bathrooms, refrigerators, mop boards, etc. Often times Tyler will pick up for me and then I'll do the deep cleaning.
20. I love to play with sticky things, like tape and stickers. If anyone pulls a sticker off of a DVD or book, or anything like that, I like to play with it until it loses it's stickiness.
21. I could never burp very loudly, until I married Tyler. Now, I am an expert. But I still think it is disgusting and only do it occasionally... mostly for shock value.
22. If my laundry sits in the washer longer than 30 minutes I re-wash it.
23. I love HGTV, the History Channel, TLC, and any news station. I also love American Idol and Dancing With the Stars.
24. I've never read any of the Harry Potter books, nor have I seen any of the movies. I usually don't like that type of stuff, and I've never been interested in them. Maybe I'd like them if I read them, though.
25. I am NOT a morning person. But I love to stay up at night. I literally have to force myself to go to bed.
26. I can always tell if a visitor used my bathroom because at my house we have a rule... the lid to the toilet seat must always be down. I hate walking into a bathroom and seeing the inside of the toilet. Grosses me out. I don't notice it at other people's homes, just at my own.
27. I put lotion on every day after I shower, but before I actually step out of the shower. I like to keep the shower curtain closed to keep in the heat. Oh, and my favorite is Nivea lotion. I stock up if I find a good deal.
28. I always forget to charge my cell phone.
29. I rarely fill my car up with gas because Tyler always makes sure it is full for me. He will even wake up early and go fill it up before he leaves for work. I warn him that if I end up one of those old widows that doesn't know how to fill up her car it is all his fault. But I appreciate it... more than he knows.
30. I love Diet Pepsi, but have cut back significantly since Olivia was born because I think it keeps her up at night. And I will do anything for sleep, even give up Diet Pepsi.
31. I love to eat buttered toast with hot cocoa. Tyler introduced me to it, and now it is one of our favorite late night snacks, especially during the winter... but it's even good mid-summer.
32. I hate to hear people blow their nose. Yuck. It makes me dry heave, seriously.
33. I like to go grocery shopping. I'd go every day if it was practical.
34. I love garlic, but it was one of the only things that didn't appeal to me when I was pregnant.
35. My sister, Wendi, and her husband, Gub, live next door to me... and I love it.
36. I am going to start an herb garden, because I can't keep paying $3.50 for a sprig of fresh herbs. And I love to cook with them. So, I just bought two basil plants.
37. I get mad at Tyler when he puts more than 12 cookies on a baking sheet. It bugs me. Silly, I know (he's making cookies as I write this).
38. I love it when my family comes over to my house.
39. Although I had a fairly easy pregnancy, I dread being pregnant again. Maybe it was the rude comments from everyone... "Are you sure it's not twins?" Or maybe it was the maternity clothes? Who knows... but I don't look forward to it.
40. I am a make-up snob. I admit it. I like expensive make-up.
41. I would rather spend time with Tyler than anyone else. He is my favorite person in the whole world and my best friend.
42. My favorite Cold Stone flavor is banana ice cream with brownies and walnuts. And, if you want, add some caramel. It is heaven in a cup.
43. I just warned Tyler that if he ever shows our kids how to throw cookie dough on the ceiling he will be in big trouble! I seriously can't believe that my husband, a grown man, just did that in my house (he was showing Maddie what he used to do when he was a kid)! He's dead meat!
44. I love Olivia more than I ever thought possible. She makes me so happy.
45. I hate to fold laundry. I can get it washed, but hate folding it and putting it away. So, Tyler usually does it.
46. I get frustrated if I don't understand something completely.
47. I love to organize and get rid of stuff that is cluttering my house. Now that I've been home I've been going to DI once a week, even though I usually only have one garbage bag full. It feels good to get it out of my house!
48. I love Banana Republic. It's probably my favorite store.
49. I hate to lounge around my house in my day clothes... I always change into sweats when I get home.
50. In the winter I love to wear socks, yes, even to bed.
51. In the summer I go bare foot around my house, and when I go out I almost always wear sandals or flip flops.
52. I snored when I was pregnant (I still think Tyler is making that up, though).
53. I wear contacts. I even sleep in them. I hate to wear my glasses and I am blind as a bat.
54. I am horrible at hanging up my clothes after I take them off. I am a "draper"... if there is something close by, I drape my clothes over it. Then there is a mountain to clean up at the end of the week.
55. Tyler and I still hold hands in the car... all the time.
56. I love Wendy's french fries dipped in their mayonnaise. Not just any mayo, only Wendy's.
57. I would rather wear heels than flats.
58. I talk really fast, even if I'm not nervous. My boss used to tell me I talked too fast but I told him it was he that listened too slowly.
59. I don't like it when I feel that things are not under control. If I feel that way then I will do whatever I can to take control of the situation.
60. If socks don't have a mate, I will only wait for one more cycle of laundry... if the mate is not found, it goes into the garbage. Tyler hides his loner socks from me.
61. I love to eat graham crackers dipped in milk. I could eat it for dinner.
62. I always try to get a good look at vehicles, people, etc. in case I ever need to be an eye witness. I saw a thing on TV once... something about "Would You Be A Good Witness?" I even read license plates and try to remember what make/model it went to. I am weird, I know. I am pretty good at it, though... especially cars.
63. I don't really like cold cereal, but I love oatmeal!
64. I rode the express UTA bus to work for over a year (120 mile round trip, every day). I actually loved riding it. I quit when I was pregnant, 'cause if I got sick that was the last place I wanted to be--stuck on a bus on I15. I drove my own car for the last 9 months of working in SLC.
65. I love Japanese food.
66. I want an iPhone, but can't justify buying one now that I am home and rarely use my cell phone.
67. I love to take a nice hot shower, but hate to do my hair... especially blow dry it. But, I have to blow it dry every day or else it is scary!
68. I use too many disposable products, especially paper plates and paper towels. I am trying to "reduce, reuse, and recycle."
69. I love to read wedding magazines, and buy Martha Stewart's Weddings magazines all the time. The clerks at the grocery stores often ask, "When you are you getting married?" They probably think I'm wacko when I tell them I just like to look at them. I'm not pathetic, I promise.
70. I rarely cry in front of people, except Tyler.
71. I love taking Olivia places with me, even though it isn't always convenient. I hate to be without her.
72. I love when my sister, Madison, hangs out with me. If I am bored, I call Maddie (yes, we're 15 years apart, but it doesn't bother either of us).
73. I didn't tell anyone that I was pregnant until I was almost 16 weeks (except Tyler, of course).
74. I love my new Honda Pilot. I like to think that my Jetta's problems were a blessing in disguise.
75. I think that it would be fun to go to culinary school... maybe someday.
76. I love to watch Tyler with Olivia. I love that he changes her diaper, gets her dressed, sings to her, and talks to her. It's so cute and it makes me so happy.
77. I am stubborn.
78. I like to iron my pillow cases if they're wrinkled.
79. I don't like fancy soaps or any of those scented body washes. Just a bar of Dove for me.
80. I am really sensitive to perfumes so I rarely wear any (hence the mild bar of Dove soap). I don't wear highly scented lotions, either.
81. I have a really big bubble... I don't like people to stand too close to me, and I really don't like to be touched by anyone except Tyler and Olivia. I really don't like to hug people, either. Ewe.
82. I love Cheese Nips crackers.
83. I like Colgate toothpaste.
84. I love ramen noodles.
85. I love food so much I could never pick one favorite.
86. I buy most of my sunglasses at TJ Maxx or Ross because they're cheap and I lose them and break them faster than I can buy them.
87. I always have gum. Cinnamon is my new favorite flavor... never liked it until I was pregnant.
88. I can still put both feet behind my head at the same time.
89. I go through phases, but right now some of my favorite foods are: guacamole, spinach & artichoke dip, paninis (with pesto), and gyoza (Japanese pot stickers).
90. I have a hard time finishing projects.
91. I'm a fair weather friend... (literally). I should live in San Diego. Anything colder than 70 and warmer than 90 is not for me.
92. I am obsessed with magazine subscriptions and have way too many. I think I currently have over 10 subscriptions, and I rarely read them all.
93. I've never cooked with leeks, but suddenly I am seeing all these recipes calling for them. So, guess what I'm going to try cooking with next week?
94. I swore my house wouldn't be one of those that is taken over with baby stuff. But, one wall in my living room is lined with the swing, a basket of toys and Olivia's BebePod chair.
95. I am obsessed with taking pictures of Olivia. I have over 2,000 already.
96. I am fascinated with other cultures. Polynesian, Indian, Mexican, Russian... it doesn't matter. I love them all.
97. I rely on Tyler too much (not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing). He does so much for me... but I love it.
98. I am turning into one of those mothers that spends all her money on her kids!
99. I eat too much toast.
100. I love my family more than anything in the entire world.

Yay, you did it! I am still working on my 100...It will probably take me forever! Meagan I love reading about you...I still remember when you used to put your legs over your head! Dang you can still do that? (scared of you girl!) Oh, and gramcrackers & milk 4 dinner...TOTALLY! YUM!
I didn't know my culture intrests you...I'll have to bring you along to one of my many Polynesian festivities! huh?
Tyler really threw cookie dough on the ceiling...he's SO dead!!
I hear you about the bubble, I'm not much of a hugger either!!
And I'm pretty sure it is your fault that I like Banana Republic too...bad friend!!
I am amazed at how many of those things I already knew about you. Maybe it is because I litteraly lived at your house growing up. Of course there were a few surprises. it was fun to read. I so remember you eating fries with mayo in the forest green van!
ps thanks a lot, you have me craving coldstone!
Meagan you have got to read Mans Search for Meaning. Its written by a psychiatrist who survived a concentration camp. Its seriously amazing!
(ok, now I have to go back and finish reading your 100 list since I stopped as soon as you mentioned the book Night)
I love these! It is so fun to read about everyone's thoughts about themselves!
I love reading these - it brings back everything that I knew about you in highschool. I am right there with you on #91 and even more with you on #81 (I hate people to touch me - except Tom).
I am also a serial draper! And WTF! People actually said those things to you when you were prego? I'm screwed...
Katy, about the cookie dough on the ceiling trick: don't knock it 'til you try it. I'll teach Ellie how to do it next time she is here!
Tyler, as long as it is at your house!!
BTW, the message about the massage was sent to my phone...I know I need one, Dan doesn't!! :)
I loved hearing about your "draping" I am the same, and I can't figure out why it's so hard for me to fold laundry. I like getting them clean, but folding and putting away seems like such a waste! I was surprised how much we have in common, I am very intruiged by anything Holocaust too. I've always wondered why I was so interested, hm. We are going to NY in June and I can't wait to spend some time at the Holocaust Museum. PS...I hope people don't hate that I am such a hugger. Cuz I wouldn't be able to see you and not want to squeeze you!! I wonder how many people are like you and I squeeze them anyway?!?! I miss you, Meg!
