Flash Back Friday...

Last week's Flashback Friday was a hit, so I am going to continue doing it. I almost forgot about it, until Wendi sent me an email informing me that she was waiting. There are so many great oldies that I have a hard time narrowing it down. I had originally only planned on doing one or two a week, but I just can't pick between all these hilarious photos.

This first photo is Tyler's family, back in July of 1980, on Melanie's baptism day. From left to right: Jackie, Richard, Lance, Melanie, Tara, Marcia, Tyler. Check out Marcia's hair! I love that do. And what you can't see in this picture is that Melanie had red knee-high stockings with white mary jane shoes.

This one is Richard and Tyler on Christmas morning in 1982. Tyler got some little hammer set. The scariest part is that Tyler looks a little bit like his dad did back in 1982.

This one is me, in 1985. It's my preschool picture! Don't you love my hair-cut? My mom was my hair cutter, hair stylist... and she was self taught. You'd never guess, would you? How many of you remember these plastic charm necklaces? I remember them quite vividly, and I truly loved mine.

This is one of my favorite pictures of all times, taken around 1986 or 87. From left to right: my cousin Brittany, me, Wendi, and Brittany's sister, Heather. We were the best of friends. I remember dressing up in our dance outfits ('cause you CAN'T dance without them) and performing for everyone at all our family parties. I remember specifically liking these outfits 'cause they looked like the totally awesome 80's exercise leotards that were all over TV. Our favorite music to dance to was Paula Abdul. She was our FAVORITE!

And this family picture is a real winner. I think this was around 1988, when Kyler was about 1 year old. Particularly noteworthy items: my dad's moustache, and Wendi's and my fabulously "grown-up" hair styles. We loved when Mom did our hair like that because it looked so adult-like. We were so cool.
