Getting Big...

Olivia is pulling herself up now. Anytime I am getting ready in the bathroom I have to move the trash can to the top of the toilet seat so she can't get to it. Well, now she just stands up to get it. So, it is now on top of the tank. She already made a mess with the trash once, and that is all I need!
She's going for my lap top that is on the couch.

This one is from today. For some reason this water bottle was on the floor (not sure why, don't ask). Well, she was being really quiet and this is what I found. You can't tell from the picture, but there was a huge puddle of water, and her pants were soaked. I know the water bottle was more than 1/2 way full, so she had plenty of fun. Water bottles are her new favorite toy.

She also plays the pointing game now. She points at everything! She'll point, and I'll tell her what she's pointing at. Then, she points at something else so I repeat the name of that object, too. This game continues over and over.

She's also learning to point to her own nose and ears. Often times her little finger ends up in her nose rather than on it, but I try not to make a big deal of it (don't want to encourage that yucky habit) so I just move it to the top of her nose. It's pretty funny though, so it is hard to not laugh.

She's sleeping 11-12 hours at night, and I feel like a new person! Of course we have the occasional bad night or early morning, but as long as I get her to bed early enough she sleeps nearly 12 hours straight! I never would have thought that the trick was getting her to bed earlier (and a few nights of crying), but it certainly works. It has taken some sacrifice our part (no more late nights with friends, late dinners, hanging out with family all night, etc), but it is definitely worth a good night's sleep!

My little baby is growing up so fast. She's losing some of that baby fat and looking more like a little girl. At her 9 month check up on Tuesday she weighed 17lbs 10oz, which is only about 4 oz more than at her 6 month check up. She's now in the 75% for height but only the 41% for weight. She used to be in the 90% for both!

WOW she is a genius! I love the magazine shreded to pieces, and I started laughing when I saw the picture of the water bottle ...isn't it funny how boxes or water bottles entertain them longer than expensive toys!

Oh, my kids love doodle bops too...(personally it a little weird to me, but hey if it can keep their attention then like you said..Why not?)

She's such a beauty Meagan...you'll love it when she starts walking! :P

Awwwwww! And hey, our little ones apparently both got into Arrowhead water bottles and drenches themselves and the floor--we have a pic of that same "incident"!
