My Mother Will Be Proud...

I don't think I can recall a single day that I've seen my mom's bed go unmade. She makes her bed every day. She says it makes her feel better. But, despite my mother's best efforts, I've never been much of a bed maker. Sure I did it when she made me, but I must admit, that during the last 4 years of marriage it has been my husband that has made our bed each morning (and done the laundry, and the ironing, and many other household chores). Seriously, no joking... having a made bed is important to Tyler.

Well, now that I've been home taking care of Olivia, I figure it's my turn. Yes, it's true, I've been making our bed EVERY DAY. And below is a picture to prove it. May not seem like like a feat to most of you, but my mom and Tyler will both understand what an accomplishment that is! I started doing it for Tyler, but I am beginning to think my mom is on to something--it does feel good to have a made bed.

Way to go! I couldn't tell you when the last time was I made our bed. I'm terrible about stuff like that. Your bed is so cute and I love your decorations! I'm still sporting bare white walls in our room. It's depressing.

Meagan, I have to admit something... I don't make my bed either. Only when someone is coming over. I make Braden's... but not mine. I think all day long that it is calling my name to come sleep in it. So why make it? Even though those days are far and in between. Your room is really cute by the way.

Hi Meg, Gigi here, Everymorning I can't get to makeing beds or cleaning anything it seems like! When I wake up I have to go straight to the kitchen and make Princess pink strawberry milk, don't start you're daughter on it! She is beautiful by the way, It's good to see you!
