Things I've Learned As A Mom...

  1. A shower by noon is a welcomed treat.
  2. They aren't joking when they say you lose brain cells when pregnant. And they don't come back, either.
  3. Farting, pooping, and burping are no longer frowned upon... in fact, they are celebrated. The bigger the better!
  4. Although I never knew it, there are lots of things that I can do one-handed.
  5. My feet, chin and other body parts are the equivalent of a 3rd hand (good for those things can't can't be done one-handed).
  6. Ahhhhh... the power of Oxy Clean!
  7. Although it's nice to be the only one living in my body again, I'm afraid it will never belong to only me again.
  8. Tyler & Meagan + one = twice the laundry
  9. It's no longer easier to just "go get something" for dinner. Let's stay home tonight, thank you.
  10. I am more protective than I thought I would be.
  11. I need a bigger car...one car seat, one diaper bag, and a few more baby things take up the entire back seat.
  12. I never knew watching someone sleep could be so entertaining.
  13. I should have listened to my mom when she told me to appreciate the body I had, 'cause now I know she was right when she said, "It will never be the same again!"
  14. What scent am I wearing? Oh, that would be "spit-up" by Olivia. It's the new scent.
  15. My husband is the best father in the whole world!
  16. Being a mom is better than I ever thought it would be!
What have you learned being a parent?

I love this post. It's fun to see different kinds of posts other than the traditional pictures with captions (as I typically only do). It's very creative.

Amen to all of that! Kids are a wonderful blessing but they do funny things to your body and mind! But they are worth it!
