We decided that it was time for a little vacation, so we headed to St. George for the weekend. It was a short trip, but it was nice to get away. It was nice and warm down there, "warm" being relative, of course. But, at 55' it was just warm enough to take Olivia out for a stroll. She kept squinting at the bright sunshine. And now that she always wants to sit up, the stroller was perfect for her. We did a little shopping and then took Maddie to see Brigham Young's home. She loved it.
We went to dinner at the Olive Garden to celebrate Wendi's birthday. Yum yum. And then we went bowling, and yes... I won everyone! Let's just say none of us had great games--my score was 138 and no one could beat that?
Olivia was SO tired by the end of the night--she isn't used to so much activity and commotion, after all, it is just the two of us home all day. But, after all that, she slept like a baby!

Meagan! o my heck-we have to get together! I am sure John and Olivia will hit it off immediately (hello, she's beautiful and he's so handsome and charming). I don't know when I will be down again. My mom is trying to get me home for Bear Lake but I don't think I can leave Nick (we haven't been apart for more than 24 hours since we were married. actually, since I got home from my mission). I just don't know if I can do it...
But I miss you too! We need to all get together: me n you, Katy J, Katie S, Amberly, Mere, Pam, Lori and even Tyler Nels. Hello-FUN!
