I took Olivia to the pediatrician for her 2 month check-up and vaccinations. It was so sad. When the nurse gave her the 2nd shot she screamed so loud and her face went bright red. Then she lost her breath and it looked like she was screaming silently. UGH... it was heart breaking! I told Tyler he gets to take her for her next vaccinations. That was NO FUN! Too bad she isn't old enough to bribe with an ice cream cone or Happy Meal. Now she's sound asleep. From the picture you would never guess that she's irritable and grouchy--she just looks so peaceful, so I think I'll let her sleep as long as she wants!

It's worse when you can bribe them with a happy meal because they know what is coming! Ben just had to get his school shots, 4 of them and he was expecting it the whole time! So sad! At least they sleep after because they are so worn out from crying!
Meagan, I STILL CRY! I can't even help it. And those innocent little babies, letting out this HURT cry, it is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! They are saying, "Mommy help me, why are they doing this?" I am so sorry, that is one of the hardest things about being a mom huh. So sad. I am glad she is okay. Did they tell you, you can give them like Ibprufen or tylenol if they aren't feeling well. Your probably like me, I am weird about what and when I give them medicine. But if my boys started getting a fever I totally would give them a little. Sorry your sad, I know.
OH and this will make you feel a little better... I was stressing flu shots this year. Because I hate them. I am a total chicken. So..here we go in and Cam, gets poked, I do, and then Braden. Well Braden watched them stick it in his leg, they put a band aid on it, gave him a sucker, and we were on our way. So I guess the trick is, if we act like it doesn't hurt, it doesn't hurt. Funny huh.
