I am feeling so excited that I really want to shout it from the roof tops, but I suppose writing it on my blog will do... Olivia is sleeping like a champ! Seriously. She slept almost 9 hours last night, and 8 1/2 hours on Sunday night.
Now, if I were smart, I would go to bed at the same time she does so I could get about 8 full hours of sleep. But, it is so nice to be home with Tyler and have some quiet time with him that we usually end up on the couch, watching more reruns of "Everybody Loves Raymond." I'd rather spend time with him than sleep, unfortunately, sleep is sort of a necessity. So, I'll split my time between the two.
We are working on getting her to sleep 12 full hours at night. She wakes up about 5:00am to eat, but usually she is so tired that she only eats for about 5 minutes. She then dozes off and sleeps for another 3 hours. If I could get her to sleep through that early morning feeding then I would really be loving it!
So, we are getting closer and closer to 12 CONTINUOUS hours of sleep at night. She is also starting to be a great napper. No more 30 minute cat naps all day long. She is taking 2 really great naps, at least 1 hour each. I am even able to lay her down while she is still awake and for the most part, she puts herself to sleep with little or no crying. Ahhhh... things are looking much better around here.

Sleeping through the night is the BEST!! Ellie was a good sleeper too. These first babies are a breeze, I think I might just stick with one!! ;)
My second was a MUCH better sleeper than my first! There is nothing like a good night sleep! You definitly need the "me" time while they are asleep, even reruns are better just knowing you don't have to take care of anyone at the moment! It's that time at night that keeps me going!

I'm so jelous of her sleeping thru the night! We were almost there with Katy and then she decided to wake up again! Grrr...

But most of the time she takes like a 2 hour nap!
