This weekend...

Well, the weekend is coming to a close, bummer, huh? I love the weekends. I love everything about them. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment...

Tyler and I were just heading out the door to meet my family for dinner (TGI Friday's, YUM). Tyler was burping Olivia and she spit-up all over him. It was everywhere. As you can tell from the grin on her face, she obviously felt much better, but Tyler was disgusted since it went through both layers of clothing. I said, "That's the story of my life, now."
I usually put Olivia down for a nap in her crib, but today I put her in the bassinet in my room because it was a little warmer (we got 2" of snow today). At night when she sleeps in the bassinet she is all wrapped up in her straight jacket (Miracle Blanket) so she can't really roll around very well but I didn't wrap her up in it for her nap. Well, we heard her talking and starting to fuss and when Tyler went in to get her this is what he found. Once she woke up she kicked and moved around enough that the pin that keeps the bassinet from rocking wiggled loose. The pictures don't really do it justice, but she looked like she was about to be dumped right out of the bassinet. It was so cute. She just looked at us like, "I'm stuck! Quit taking pictures and help me out of this mess!"

We spent tonight at my mom's house celebrating Amanda's 18th birthday. Olivia has finally acknowledged Ellie's presence and is a little intrigued by her. Ellie kept licking Olivia, until Olivia grabbed a handful of fur on her face and pulled. She wouldn't let go. That scared Ellie enough and she ran for the safety of my dad's lap! She eventually made her way back down by Olivia, but she wouldn't get too close.
Amanda wanted a bunch of stuff for her apartment, so we got her a toaster (fun, I know). My mom bought her the Magic Bullet food processor/blender. Madison, our infomercial watcher, knew all about it. She sat next to Amanda and told her all about the 6 different cups and their colored rings. She proceeded to explain the different lids for shaking, seasoning, etc. Madison really is our infomercial know-it-all. She's always loved to watch them, seriously, since she was tiny--especially the one for the knives. She is so into the sharp knives.

The spit-up picture is classic! Ha! Olivia looked like she was having fun in the bassinet picture! We actually saw you guys driving in the river bottoms, probably to your mom's house, last night! I can't believe how old Amanda is! Wow, that makes us old huh?

She got Tyler good!!

She always looks like she has gotten bigger in the pictures you post, we need to hang out soon. I think Dan might try to go golfing this weekend (if it doesn't snow), maybe they could get together, and we could go shopping.

Olivia is so cute!
I love the spit up picture. I think every Dad needs to be broken in by spit up. They wouldn't be official if it didn't happen at least once. Just wait until you are leaving for Church and she does it all over his nice clean suit!
