Since she liked the real baby, I decided to buy her a little baby doll. I know she's a little young, but even baby girls need a baby doll, right?
What happened to cheap, soft-bodied, small, CUTE baby dolls? I only found a few that were small enough for Olivia to maneuver, but they were ugly! Or, if they were cute they were more than $20. I didn't want to spend that much for an 8 month old, especially since it was me that wanted her to have a doll, not the other way around!
Well, we settled on this one. I liked it 'cause it had darker skin, brown hair, and brown eyes like Olivia. When I showed it to her she smiled and giggled, like she did when I held her up to Bentley. It was so cute.
She seems to like it. But it's a good thing it is only a doll 'cause she really likes her eyes! The doll has real eyelashes and big eyes and Olivia tries clawing them out! Ha ha ha. I guess we still need to work on being "gentle." Don't worry, Heather... I'll keep her little fingers away from Bentley!
Giving the baby doll kisses...

How cute! The only dolls that I deal with are Buzz Lightyear! She looks so happy and she is getting so big! I wish I could come with you guys on Saturday!
Love the eye gouging!
Isn't it so fun to shop for dolls? Katy's first doll was a Cabbage Patch Kid. I was so excited to get one for her since I remember when they were all the craze and I had to have one!
How cute! I think it is so fun when they become interested in the babies! Now Ellie is a little mother and we absolutly CANNOT leave the house without her baby! I think I tramatized her last week because she saw me putting her baby in the washer!! She was hysterical! Whoops!! Hey....are you going to the melting pot tonight w/Amberly & Syd? I don't know who else is going. I would love to come, but I want to ride up with someone. Anyways, Let me know if you are going! Thanks :^)
