She's so close to crawling, but I think she's planning on sticking with her "crab-walk" since it works just fine! She still scoots on her back, but she does this back-bend-thing and her head stays on the floor. It looks like she's going to break her neck, but it must not hurt her 'cause that is how she scoots around! Wendi calls it her "crab-walk."
She is a huge mama's girl now. I admit, I love it. I don't think Tyler likes it so much, but since it looks like her first word will be "da-da," I say it's even.
She's discovered her pointer fingers and likes to hold up them up in the air. Sometimes she waves like that now instead of just a fist. If you ask her where her fingers are she'll hold up her pointer fingers. And if you ask her where someone's nose is she will point to it (be careful though, her aim isn't always right on and sometimes she nearly pokes out an eye). She also loves to clap and say "Yaaaaaayyyy."
On a naughty note, she's discovered that she can bite with her 5 teeth. Yes, that's right. She had 5 teeth as of a couple of weeks ago (3 on top, 2 on bottom) and now she bites! I have bite marks all over my shoulders and arms. OUCH! I am trying to teach her to not bite, but it isn't working. I do immediately make her look at me and say "no" really firmly, but I don't think she gets it. Any suggestions?
Here are a few of my recent favorites...
Now that she's discovered her index fingers, she points them all the time. She even crawls around like this. She loves to point, and then clap and say, "Yaaaaayyy," since that is what we always do when she does it.
This is the back-bend/crab-walk that she does. Sometimes she arches so far back that her neck looks like it is bent in half.
I've been stripping her down to feed her because she makes such a mess. I love those chubby arms and that smile.
Who needs colorful baby toys when you've got a telephone and a remote control. Oh, and she can spot a cell phone a mile away! Olivia LOVES cell phones, thanks to Grandma (my mom) that always gives one to her.

WOW!! Check out that crab walk...it is pretty impressive!
Olivia gets cuter by the minute, she looks like a little doll. Let's plan for a lunch next week...I really need some socializing!!
She is so cute!! I love the huge dark eyes. Babies are so much fun and before you know it the baby traits are gone just like you said...it is so sad :^)
